Survivor Support Groups with Meg

Onslow Victims Center is excited to announce that beginning in December 2025, we will be increasing Support Group sessions to 2 times a month for Survivors of Violence (Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault). These groups provide a space to connect with others who have shared experiences and to begin or continue the healing process in a safe, supportive environment.

When: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month

Time: 5:30pm to 7:00pm

Where: 403 N Bayshore Blvd, Jacksonville, NC 28540

Our support groups will explore a range of survivor-centered topics, including:

  • Mental health and coping skills

  • Healthy relationships

  • Self-esteem and empowerment

  • Safety planning

  • Healing after sexual assault

  • Navigating new relationships after abuse

These groups are open-form discussions, guided by the needs and interests of the participants. There are no attendance requirements — come as you are.

Please note: Children are not able to attend, as some topics may be difficult or triggering for them. We kindly ask that childcare arrangements be made prior to attending.

Registration:

Please complete the electronic registration form by 12:00pm (noon) the day before group. Space is limited to 10 participants to ensure a supportive and comfortable environment, so we encourage signing up early.

If you have any questions, please call our main office at 910-238-2941.

We look forward to supporting you. You are not alone.
