A Safe Place to Begin Again
Onslow Victims Center provides a free and confidential emergency shelter for individuals and families fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking. Our safe house offers immediate refuge, emotional support, and access to essential resources in a secure, trauma-informed environment.
The shelter has 27 beds and is staffed 24/7 by specially trained advocates who are available to assist clients at any time of day or night. While in shelter, clients receive individualized support through case management, advocacy, safety planning, and resource coordination to help them begin rebuilding their lives.
We believe in meeting survivors where they are—with dignity, compassion, and without judgment. Whether someone stays one night or several weeks, our primary goal remains the same:
To help individuals enter as victims and leave as empowered survivors.
