Our butterfly logo was inspired by a painting donated in 2017 by a survivor who had stayed in our emergency shelter. One wing was purple for domestic violence awareness, and the other was teal for sexual assault awareness.
Today, the original painting hangs in our main office.
For us, the butterfly represents survival, healing, and transformation. Survivors are not defined by what they have endured. With support, safety, and the freedom to choose their own path, a new beginning is possible.
